The City of Rosemade is set to temporarily relocate its Public Safety Center to facilitate essential renovations aimed at enhancing service efficiency and bolstering safety features. The center, which is currently located at 8301 Garvey Avenue, will shift its operations to a new, temporary address at 3963 Muscatel Avenue, starting December 18, 2024. The temporary relocation is expected to last approximately six months, with plans to move back to the renovated original location upon completion.

This strategic move is scheduled to begin on December 16, 2024, which will be the last operational day at the current location. In preparation for the move, the Public Safety Center will be closed on December 17, 2024, and will reopen the next day at the temporary location. Despite the transition, emergency services will remain active and will continue to operate without interruption. Residents in need of emergency services are directed to contact the Temple Sheriff’s Station at (626) 287-5221.

For residents needing non-emergency assistance, such as dog licensing, animal-related responses, and general public safety inquiries, the Public Safety Center will maintain its usual service hours. Community members can reach out by calling (626) 569-2292 or visiting the temporary site from Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and during the weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Moreover, starting January 2025, the Public Safety Center’s Low-Cost Pet Vaccine Clinic will be hosted at a new location. The clinic will take place at Garvey Park by the Dog Park located at 7933 Emerson Place, Rosemead. Residents interested in the clinic dates for 2025 are encouraged to visit the City of Rosemead’s official website for the most current information.

The City of Rosemead expresses gratitude towards the community for its ongoing support and patience through the duration of the Public Safety Center’s renovations. The improvements are expected to provide significant benefits, reinforcing the city’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing public safety infrastructure.
