Rosemead School District Offers Free Summer Meals

The Rosemead School District will provide free meals through participation in the Seamless Summer Feeding Option program. Summer meals help ensure that children continue to receive

nutritious meals during the summer.

The program runs June 15 through July 31 and is funded through the United States Department of Agriculture , which plans to serve more than 200 million free meals to children 18 years and under at approved Seamless Summer sites throughout the country.

The Rosemead School District is excited to participate in this program to help ensure that no child goes

hungry this summer. All children, ages 1-18, are eligible to receive free meals.

No meal applications are necessary during the summer meal service. All children are automatically qualified for free summer meals. Meal service times, as well as start and end dates vary depending on site location.

Site locations in the Rosemead School District include Savannah Elementary School, 3720 Rio Hondo Ave. and Muscatel Middle School, 4201 Ivar Ave.
