Summer Programs at Baldwin Park Aquatic Center
The Aquatic Center is offering a wide range of summer programs for all ages, including swim lessons and recreational swim hours. Located at 4100 Baldwin Park Blvd., the center is operated by the City of Baldwin Park Recreation and Community Services Department and provides affordable aquatic activities through August 16.
Programs are open to all age groups, from infants to seniors. Swim lessons are available for children ages six months to 17 years, with resident rates set at $45 and non-resident rates at $60. Adult lessons are priced at $55 for residents and $75 for non-residents.
Swim Lessons for All Ages
Baldwin Park offers instruction for every age and skill level. Classes include Parent and Child (ages 0–3), Preschool (ages 3–6), and five swim skill levels for youth ages 6–17. These range from introductory skills to stroke refinement. Adult swim lessons are also available for individuals aged 18 and older.
Each class operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with registration remaining open until full. Residents are encouraged to register early by visiting the Esther Snyder Community Center, located at the same address, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Proof of residency is required, including a California ID and a current utility bill.
Affordable Recreation for Families
In addition to lessons, the Baldwin Park Aquatic Center will offer recreational swim five days a week. Youth aged 17 and under can attend for $3 (residents) or $4 (non-residents). Adults aged 18 to 54 pay $4 for residents and $5 for non-residents. Seniors aged 55 and older can swim for $1 as residents or $2 as non-residents.
The recreational swim schedule is as follows:
- Mondays and Tuesdays from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.
- Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m.
- Fridays from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Saturdays from 1:30 to 5 p.m.
